In our version, we’ve opted for a mix of Eatlean Red & Eatlean Smoked for extra depth of flavour and colour, but you can use any combination of our cheeses to get the perfect flavour combination for you.
So what have we switched up?
Eatlean Red – Brighten up your dishes with a colour boost! With a slight twist to our original protein cheese block, Eatlean Red brings more excitement to your meals. Same cheese-making methods, same taste, same characteristics…..just with colour using natural annatto from plants.
Eatlean Smoked – Eatlean Smoked Cheese is naturally smoked over oak shavings for 15 hours to give your meal that extra flavour hit, whilst still containing just half the calories of regular cheddar.
Add the mince to a bowl along with the garlic powder, onion powder, parsley and seasoning and mix well.
Cut a thick slice of bread and press down the inside to make a large well in the bread slice, be careful not to break through the bread, just squash down.
Add the mixed cheese to the well.
Add the mince meat on top of the cheese and then place the bread mince side down in the frying pan.
Toast through both sides, flipping until the beef is cooked through, bread is toasted and cheese is melted and oozing!
