CLASSIC CHEESY LASAGNE

Enjoy the heartwarming taste of home with this protein packed cheesy lasagne. A traditional family favourite but also a protein power house using Eatlean Cheese Slices! Whether it’s a weeknight dinner or a special occasion, this cheesy and creamy lasagne is sure to please every member of your family.

Serves 3. 52g of protein per serving.

Ingredients

1 Diced onion

2 Garlic cloves

400g Minced meat 5% fat

Tomato purée (1tbsp)

300g Tinned tomatoes

150ml Beef stock

50g Butter

50g Plain flour

500ml Semi skimmed milk

Method

In one pan fry onion and garlic on a medium heat until soft before adding the minced meat. Cook until brown.

Stir in tomato purée, beef stock and tinned tomatoes and season to preference. Lower the heat and allow to simmer while making the white sauce.

To make the white sauce, melt the butter in a separate pan on a low heat before adding in milk and flour to a medium heat.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius or 180 fan. In a baking dish begin to layer the lasagne. Add pasta sheets, minced meat mixture, Eatlean Cheese Slices then white sauce and repeat until the dish is full. Sprinkle Eatlean Grated Cheese on top to finish off.
