On our cheese we guarantee 30 days shelf life on receipt (unless specified). This is typically between 45-60 days.

We guarantee 21 days on our Eatlean Spreadable. However this is typically between 45-60.

We can only guarantee 14 days life on Eatlean Bake.

Our ambient & friends products typically come with 2+ months life on them, again we guarantee a minimum of 30 days.

But what our cheese makers do is use their skills to increase the level of protein and to reduce the level of fat – which makes a healthier cheese, which can help with weight loss as part of a calorie controlled diet plan

Eatlean Protein cheese is made with the same ingredients as your everyday cheddar. We use milk, starter culture (to help convert milk to cheese) and salt. The clever part is in the skills of our cheese makers.

The only ingredients in our Protein cheese are Milk, starter cultures and salt. When our cheese is ready, it is made up of (approx.)

37% Protein
3% Fat
2% salt
0.5% Carbohydrates
5% Minerals (calcium, Potassium, etc)
50% moisture / water

(Milk is the main ingredient to make all cheese and as you may know, milk is made up of over 90% moisture / water. So even though our cheese feels dry (that is the increased level of protein) there is still a lot of moisture / water in all cheeses.)

We are very proud to be part of the Red Tractor Assurance scheme. Red Tractor is the largest and only food scheme that offers full traceability of products.

Our farms are located mainly within a 35 mile radius of our Dairy and the Red Tractor standards make sure that our farmers are competent to look after animals, understand their needs and that the animal’s health and welfare is regularly checked.

Many people don’t know but Eatlean contains 80% less Cholesterol than Full Fat Cheddar Cheese. Fantastic for those that are trying to manage their intake.

We guarantee a minimum of 30 days life our cheeses but should you feel the need to freeze your cheese then yes you can. But our recommendation would be only to freeze grated protein cheese. Freezing cheese is safe, and does not affect the flavour – however, when thawed it can make the texture of protein cheese brittle and crumbly. So our recommendation is to grate your protein cheese before freezing …. But hopefully you will eat and enjoy it all before it reaches it’s ‘best before’ date.

Please don’t try to grate the spreadable protein cheese…..it could get messy!! 🙂

Unfortunately you cannot freeze the spreadable and cheese bake.

Eatlean does not any contain nuts, wheat or gluten.

Eatlean is produced on a designated nut free site, which also does not handle wheat or gluten.

There is 2% of potato starch in our grated protein cheese.  This prevents the grated cheese from clumping together.

– If the problem is the fault of Eatlean we will either re-deliver or refund your purchased product, depending on your preference. We insist however that you let us know within 24 hours of receiving your order.

– If there is a mistake submitted on the order form e.g. incorrect information, Eatlean cannot be held responsible for it. However, we will work with you to try and correct the issue.

– If nobody is there to sign for your delivery and your cheese is left unchilled Eatlean cannot offer a refund.
