TEAR N’ SHARE PUFF PASTRY PROTEIN SPIDER
This cheesy tear n share spider is perfect for Halloween get-togethers or making with friends or children! With reduced-fat pastry and our Eatlean Tasty cheese, it’s health-conscious and packed with protein for a delicious spooky treat.
Ingredients
2x 330g Reduced-fat Puff Pastry
30g Pizza Sauce
100g Eatlean Tasty Grated Cheese
1/2 Bell Pepper, chopped into small cubes
1 egg
Method
Roll out your pastry until it’s ½ cm thick.
Using a cup, cut the shape of the spider body and up diagonally to the corners for the legs
Spread pizza sauce over the spider, and top with Eatlean Tasty grated and chopped peppers.
Place the other half of the spider pastry on top and cut the leg sections into four.
Twist each leg and then brush the whole spider with an egg wash.
Use some chopped pepper to make a face.
Bake at 200ºc for around 20 minutes until the pastry has browned and puffed.
Remove from the oven and enjoy!
