Put the Good Stuff Back on the Menu With Eatlean™

FAKEAWAY MCDONALDS BREAKFAST WRAP

If you haven’t given in to the temptation of a McDonalds Breakfast Wrap at some point, then you are doing better than most of us! Super convenient, extra helpful on a hangover morning, and low cost too….but did you know that lurking in that Breakfast Wrap are a whopping 605 calories (A Big Mac has 490 to put it in perspective!) and 31g of fat!
We don’t believe in cutting foods out, instead we opt for healthy alternatives, getting creative in the kitchen to make more macro friendly recipes that still satisfy your cravings.
This week we took on the Breakfast Wrap…and made our own lower calorie, low fat alternative. Unless the drive through is on your doorstep, we reckon you can whip this up in even less time than it takes to drive out and pick one up too! This recipe shaves 143 calories off the original, and almost less than a third of the fat content…what’s more we include two sausages and two bacon rashers so feel free to drop these to just one to lower the nutritionals even further!
So what have we switched up…

Eatlean Protein Cheese – Compared to regular cheddar Eatlean cheese contains 45% more protein, 90% less fat and 55% fewer calories, a great alternative to the full fat cheddar typically found in dishes and recipes.

Heck Chicken Italia Sausages- ‘These chicken sausages bring a hearty taste that doesn’t go straight to your waist’. – Heck

WW Wraps- Shop around when it comes to wraps and see if you can shave a few calories or grams of fat off your recipe by opting for a lighter version. You could also reduce the carb and calorie content of this dish even further by using a Lo Dough wrap.
