DARK CHOCOLATE CHERRY CHEESECAKE BROWNIES
Is there any better combination than dark chocolate and cherry?
Remember when Eatlean ambassador Tommy whipped up this beauty using Eatlean spreadable and TRKG cherry sauce. Well we hear you want to be reminded of the recipe again so here it is.
150g unsalted butter, softened & a little for greasing
200g dark chocolate
275g caster sugar
5 medium eggs
75g plain flour, sifted
300g Eatlean spreadable cheese at room temperature.
Frozen dark sweet cherries, defrosted
TRKG Healthy Living cherry skinny syrup
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease an 8″ baking tin and line with greaseproof paper.
Combine the butter and chocolate in a bowl and melt in the microwave. Cool, then stir in 225g caster sugar. Beat in 3 eggs, one by one, then mix in the flour and set aside.
In a separate bowl, whisk the Eatlean spreadable cheese with the remaining 50g caster sugar, 2 eggs & two squirts of TRKG cherry skinny syrup until creamy. Drop alternate spoonful’s of each mixture into the greased baking tin.
Using a spoon, swirl together to create a marbled effect. Scatter the cherries on top and bake for 30-40 minutes. Allow to cool then refrigerate for a good hour before eating.
