Bringing everyone’s (guilty pleasure) drive-through breakfast favourite to your door…this fakeaway challenge we’ve taken on the ever popular McDonalds Sausage & Egg McMuffin.

With 58% less fat than the original, our version still packs all the flavour, all the elements, and most definitely ALL the cheese!

So what have we switched up?

SAUSAGE & EGG MCMUFFIN

    Ingredients

    • 100g Lean Pork Mince
    • Seasoning (salt, pepper, sage, onion granules)
    • English Breakfast Muffin
    • 1x Egg
    • 2x Sliced Protein Cheese Slices

    Method

    Add the pork mince to a bowl along with the seasoning and mix together well, bringing together to form a patty with the mince.

    Place in a frying pan on a low-medium heat and cook through until fully cooked in the centre

    Crack the egg into an egg ring and cook to your preference (we like our yolks runny!)

    When the patty is nearly ready, pop the two slices of Protein Cheese on top and melt.

    Assemble the cooked elements onto your muffin and enjoy with a good cuppa!
